The Bayfield Winter Festival is a regional event to
"celebrate snow, ice and cabin fever" with the goal of providing outdoor winter activities for local residents and
visitors to enjoy. The Festival is managed by a committee of volunteers from local businesses and non-profits. We welcome you to a wild and crazy time in Bayfield!.
Fundraising
Many Bayfield Winter Festival activities are fundraisers for non-profits in our area. Thank you for participating and helping these organizations continue their community service.
All donations raised by the Polar Bear Plunge and Run on Water go towards supporting the Bayfield Area Recreation Center. The Rec Center features an indoor pool and fitness room and serves over 30,000 visits a year. Visit www.bayfieldreccenter.com for information.
The WinterBASH and WinterDASH proceeds benefit the Ashwabay Outdoor Education Foundation. Mt. Ashwabay is our community ski hill, with both downhill and cross country skiing, and tubing. Visit http://www.mtashwabay.org/ for details.
